For over two decades the CLC-group at Chalmers has investigated this breakthrough technology for CO2 capture.  With four pilots in the range 0.3-100 kW, the process has been demonstrated with a large number of oxygen carriers and gas, liquid and solid fuels.  In addition, large efforts have been devoted to development of viable oxygen carrier materials and also processes for hydrogen and syngas production.
